Reproductive Health is a statewide program that provides education and comprehensive
medical services that are an integral part of prevention and good health.
Nebraska Reproductive Health:
- Promotes
responsible behavior, the well-being of families and healthy babies.
- Reduces mother
and infant death, unintended pregnancies, child abuse and sexually transmitted diseases.
- Allows timing of
pregnancies when couples are in the best position to care for new children.
The program provides services to people, both female and male,
regardless of income, marital status, age, national origin, or residence.
Services are confidential and provided in a setting that preserves
and protects the privacy and rights of each person. |
