Pandemic Planning Kit for Businesses (Media)

If severe pandemic flu strikes, 30-40 percent of your employees may not report to work because they’re sick, caring for sick relatives or too worried about catching the virus to take the risk.  Do you have a plan to keep your newsroom up and running?

Information and public action may mean the difference between life and death in a severe pandemic outbreak.  Nebraskans are depending on the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services to put out information they need to know and they’re depending on local media to get that information to them.
