Public Comment Period ends May 29, 2008 on Federal Health Professional Shortage Area Proposed Rule
| There is a 90 day public comment period regarding the
proposed rule to change the methodology of designating federal primary care Health
Professional Shortage Areas and Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (HPSA and
MUA/P). This public comment period ends on May 29, 2008 and one may
send comments as defined in the Federal
Register Notice of Proposed Rule. The Office of Rural Health will be conducting our own analysis of the impacts of this proposed rule change and provide updates on this web page as they become available. We will also be sharing the potential impacts with those organizations impacted when we are able. |
