Discover School Breakfast Toolkit (www.fns.usda.gov/cnd/Breakfast/toolkit/Default.htm)   This kit is designed for individuals who have an interest in increasing access to the School Breakfast Program, determine the type of meal service most suited to their needs and developing a marketing plan that will capture and keep all of their customers

Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) (www.fsis.usda.gov)  A public health regulatory agency of the USDA, protects consumers by ensuring that meat, poultry, and egg products are safe, wholesome, and accurately labeled.

Food Safety and Inspection Service Recall (www.fsis.usda.gov/Fsis_Recalls/index.asp) A recall is a voluntary action by a manufacturer or distributor to protect the public from products that may cause health problems.  Look here first for current recall news.

Homeland Security (Department of Homeland Security) (www.dhs.gov/dhspublic/)  The newly formed federal agency, has developed several initiatives to protect U.S. citizens form the risk of terrorist attacks.  This web site will keep you informed of the latest.

USDA Food & Nutrition Service Assistance Programs (www.fns.usda.gov/fns/default.htm)

The Child Care Nutrition Resource System (www.nal.usda.gov/childcare)   Provides you with recipes, resources, and information on preparing nutritious meals and food safety.  Day care providers who participate in USDA's program (CACFP) will find the information useful.
